Statement of Purpose For Masters In IT
Firstly, I would like to thank you for providing me this opportunity to pen down my Statement of Purpose. My introduction is I am Raja Hasnain. I was born and grown up in Pakistan and as well as I received all of my education from Pakistan. I did my Matriculation in 2004 and Intermediate in 2007 from Bright Future Higher Secondary School Umarkot. Due to my interest in technical work, I chose Engineering as major subject and obtained “A Grade” in my intermediate. Further, in my Bachelors, I opted for Software as I had a keen interest in this subject. After completing my Bachelors in Software Engineering, I did a four months’ internship in Hidaya Institute of Science and Technology Jamshoro, where I gained the hands-on training of Web Development. From October 2012 to November 2013, I worked in Expleos Make It Work a software House in Karachi as a Data Analyst where my key responsibilities were Search Engine Optimization, Keyword Mining, App Search Optimization, App Content, description and marketing material, Data Analytics and Data Mining.
After a lot of research, I am convinced that Thailand would be the best place for further studies as compared to other countries. The quality of education and life is much better in Thailand. Thailand is known for its tasty foods, exoticness, beautiful beaches, lush jungles, warm weather, spiritual beliefs, friendly and fun loving people and multi cultural environment. Thailand is snuggled between and among some of the world’s most interesting, exotic, stunning and rapidly changing countries. Living in Thailand provides a backdoor filled with nations such as Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, China and Indonesia-just to name some of them. Thailand is deceptively enormous; it would take a full day or more of driving to reach the northern border commencing from its southern counterpart. And in between awaits an endless array of stunning beaches and island, jungles and national parks, world heritage sites, golden temples and majestic ruins. I believe that I have made a right choice of going to the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University. It is one of the world class research driven graduate level institute focusing on advanced energy and sustainable technologies.
I am willing to pursue a career in Masters in Computer Science. This decision is based on various reasons, the most interesting is that it would do justice to my technical skills and let me achieve my goals. Since, its IT that brings continuous innovation in Technology, that is why I have completed my Bachelor’s in Software Engineering. By doing Bachelors in Software, I have gained a good understanding of the various fields in Software Engineering environment. In my Bachelors, I have learned a lot about the programming languages. Some languages which I learned which helps me a lot in to improve my technical skills. I did not face any difficulty in Software Engineering and all courses were interesting. In four years, the courses which I liked the most were Object Oriented Programming, Data Base Management System, Multimedia and Web Designing and Development.
I have decided to opt for Masters in Computer Science in Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University in order to get better understanding of this field as per International standards. SIIT offers an international standard of education at one 5th the cost of going abroad. This university is affordable as compared to other universities and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology is one of the finest institute of Thailand. After completion of my Masters in Computer Science from here, I intend to come back to my home country to boost up my career excellence at its height. The city of Pathum Thani appears to be a modern, safe, friendly and multi-cultural. Thailand provides international students with first class education in a spacious green and world standard city. Therefore, it is an ideal place for me to go.
